HUMANITARIAN AID CENTER MAKEOVER IN VYNOHRADIV
July - October 2023
Setting up a humanitarian aid center is a big challenge. And that is what Lyudmila Svoreny and her partner took on as soon as the war started in Ukraine, in February 2022. She needed some help, to organize their work better. This is the story of the volunteering event, where 40 people in two days turned the place around.
A volunteering event to set up needed furnitures, equipments and more.

We traveeled to Ukraine, on the 22nd of July 2023 to aid a local volunteer center in Vinogradiv (Nagyszőlős)
The project was a joint effort of Marci Elődi - leader of the Hahó Önkéntesek volunteering mission. Together we had 20 young Hungarians spending their weekend working in Ukraine, building a shelving system, a second hand clothes shop, a medicine storage and a volunteers kitchen.
The project helped to aid over 300 refugee families in the area and many more locals in need. Photos and the videos below of the lovely Lyudmila and her team at the aid center.
